i watched the movie 2012 over the weekend, and it stirred some thoughts into me.
would i be as selfless as the geologist, to risk some lives to save more? is it my choice to make?
would i be selfish and demand that the elite be saved - because i was part of the elite? it would be so easy to justify that, wouldn’t it?

A few things I've learned
Be honest. Don’t lie, not to anyone, not to yourself. Lying to someone is tantamount to lying to yourself anyway.
Say what you mean and only what you know for a fact to be true. Any more and it becomes insult, gossip, slander, or words of rage - all of which will come back to you full circle and you will be paid in kind.
Be gentle. Speak softly and carry a big stick if you need to. Gentleness is...

Bond-ing
The one thing i always thought was impressive and indicative of the Bond books and the good and representative actors for James Bond was that Mr. “Bond, James Bond” was utterly un-faze-able.
You could blow up a bomb beside him and he’d carry on defusing another anyway. Or blow up the car he was going to escape in and he’ll just take one of the enemy’s ones instead....

I tried it, and i can imagine how it might be useful…i also see how it can be totally useless, but hey that’s not stopping me from using it anyway just for the kick of it. :D

Saw a guy get sandwiched rather painfully and for a duration, between the closing MRT doors. Wasn’t till I saw what he was wearing that I realized why and smirked.

Consistency
Sometimes welcome, sometimes boring.
The total lack thereof causes unpredictability and sometimes a threat to life or decisions. But its overwhelming an excessive presence makes a routine that promotes monotony and depicts staganant thought.
Neither extreme (and referring only to the extremes) are desirable. In the end it is a balance, a moderation of the two that counters a stable situation...
